About the employer:

FinTech portfolio company: the portco is building financial and market infrastructure for AI compute.

You’ll design, build, and ship features across the frontend and backend of the compute exchange platform. You’ll shape APIs and architecture, solve complex product and engineering problems, and own your work from idea through launch and iteration.

About the role:

This is a hands-on engineering role combining software development, infrastructure troubleshooting, production incident response, and customer-facing technical work.

NYC, SoHo · On-site

$130K–$220K base + equity

Relocation assistance available; visa sponsorship considered case by case

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and resolve GPU node failures, downtime, and connectivity issues.
• Write code and scripts to troubleshoot and automate infrastructure operations.
• Investigate virtual machines, security, and infrastructure configuration.
• Work directly with customers, data center operators, and engineering teammates.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Strong Python backend skills and experience building customer-facing applications.
• Production troubleshooting experience and strong testing and reliability practices.
• The ability to own ambiguous technical problems through resolution.

GPU/cloud infrastructure, systems engineering, or forward deployed experience is especially relevant. Rust, fintech, trading systems, and infrastructure automation experience are a plus.

Small team, high autonomy, and direct ownership of production infrastructure.
