GEMS Education partners with public schools across Ho Chi Minh City to deliver high-quality English-medium instruction in Mathematics and Experimental Science. We are currently seeking qualified Foreign Teachers to join our academic team for the 2026–2027 school year.

This position is ideal for educators who enjoy teaching subject content through English and inspiring students with practical, engaging lessons.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Teach Mathematics and/or Experimental Science in English to primary school students at assigned public schools.
• Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons aligned with the approved curriculum and learning objectives.
• Foster students' critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, curiosity, and active participation.
• Prepare appropriate lesson plans, instructional materials, and classroom activities.
• Collaborate effectively with Vietnamese teachers, school administrators, and GEMS Education coordinators.
• Maintain accurate attendance records, teaching reports, and other required documentation.
• Participate in orientation sessions, academic meetings, and professional development activities as required.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics, Science, Education, or a closely related field.
• Relevant teaching qualification, such as PGCE, QTS, a recognized teaching license, or equivalent. TESOL, TEFL, or CELTA may be considered as supplementary qualifications where relevant.
• Previous experience teaching Mathematics and/or Science, preferably at the primary school level.
• Strong English communication skills with clear, accurate pronunciation and the ability to explain subject-specific concepts effectively.
• Ability to meet the eligibility requirements for a Vietnamese Work Permit under applicable regulations.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and student engagement skills.
• Personal laptop required for teaching preparation, professional training, online meetings, and administrative responsibilities.
• Professional, dependable, adaptable, and committed to maintaining high educational standards.

TEACHING SCHEDULE

• Monday – Friday: Afternoon sessions, 1:15 PM – 4:45 PM

Teaching assignments and schedules will be confirmed based on school requirements and teacher availability.
