Role Overview: The Foreign Therapist will be responsible for delivering a variety of wellness treatments, including traditional therapies from Thailand, the Philippines, or Northern India. The ideal candidate will have expertise in their native healing practices, combined with the ability to integrate these methods into the spa's Ayurvedic approach. This role requires a therapist who is passionate about holistic health and can contribute to the spa's reputation for excellence. Qualifications Certification or formal training in traditional therapies from Thailand, the Philippines, or Northern India. Proven experience as a therapist in a luxury spa or wellness center. Expertise in traditional treatments such as Thai massage, Hilot, or specific Northern Indian therapies. Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with guests from diverse backgrounds. Passionate about holistic health and committed to providing exceptional service. Ability to adapt to a new cultural environment and work within a multicultural team. Proficiency in English is an advantage. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays. Responsibilities: Perform a range of traditional wellness treatments from your country of origin, such as Thai massage, Filipino Hilot, or Northern Indian therapies, in accordance with the spa's standards. Conduct guest consultations to assess individual needs and recommend appropriate treatments. Work closely with Ayurvedic therapists to create personalized wellness programs that incorporate a blend of treatments. Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and service during all treatments. Educate guests on the benefits of traditional treatments and provide recommendations for post-treatment care. Collaborate with the spa team to ensure a seamless and satisfying guest experience. Keep detailed records of treatments provided and guest preferences. Continuously update your knowledge of both traditional and modern wellness practices. Assist in maintaining the treatment rooms, ensuring they are clean, well-stocked, and inviting.
