Forward Deployed Engineer

About the Role

This is a hands-on engineering role at a fast-growing, bootstrapped AI services firm that embeds directly inside Fortune 500 client environments to design, build, and ship production AI systems. You will own full end-to-end delivery, from architecture through deployment, on some of the most complex AI transformation engagements in the market. The team is scaling rapidly and partners closely with leading AI model providers to stay at the frontier.

What You'll Do

• Architect and deploy end-to-end AI workflows and agentic systems for large enterprise clients, taking full ownership from design to production.

• Ramp quickly into unfamiliar client codebases, including large legacy monoliths, and ship production-quality code with minimal guidance.

• Interface directly with C-suite stakeholders, such as CIOs and CEOs, across industries including finance, entertainment, and consumer goods.

• Use cutting-edge agentic coding tools to accelerate delivery and build systems that operate reliably without ongoing hand-holding.

• Collaborate with AI strategists to scope engagements, then execute on them end to end.

What We're Looking For

• 3 to 8 years of production software engineering experience, with clear evidence of personally shipping something substantial and complex.

• True full-stack background with hands-on experience writing and deploying production code (not solutions engineering or data-only roles).

• Demonstrated delivery of end-to-end AI workflows and agentic systems in production for enterprise clients.

• Proficiency with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure) in a production context.

• Familiarity with modern AI development tools such as agentic coding assistants; experience with Python and TypeScript is relevant to the stack.

• Strong client-facing communication skills, comfortable presenting to and partnering with both technical teams and executives.

• High agency and a fast pace, ready to work in-person five days a week in a startup environment.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary of $180,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
