About the Role
This is a high-impact, full-stack engineering role at the frontier of healthcare AI, sitting at the intersection of software engineering, product thinking, and direct client engagement. You will serve as a technical lead on complex deployments with major health systems, translating messy clinical and business problems into production-grade software used by thousands of clinicians. The role is central to how the company drives real-world adoption and turns field learnings into scalable platform capabilities.
What You'll Do
Act as the technical lead on high-impact healthcare AI deployments, architecting and shipping production solutions end-to-end.
Own activated revenue outcomes by accelerating contract timelines, identifying expansion opportunities, and driving products from 0 to 1 to 100.
Work directly with executives at large health systems as a field-facing technical authority, translating unstructured clinical and business problems into technical products.
Build full-stack applications using Python/FastAPI on the backend and React on the frontend, integrating with EHR systems and handling non-standard healthcare data.
Rotate through engineering pods to build platform-wide context, then lead deployments within specific customer segments or problem spaces.
Feed field learnings back into the core product so solutions built for individual clients become reusable platform capabilities.
Travel domestically up to 35% for on-site client visits during active deployment phases.
What We're Looking For
3 to 10+ years of experience shipping production code as a software engineer, including 0-to-1 enterprise product deployments in customer environments.
Strong full-stack engineering foundation: proficiency in Python or Go for backend and React for frontend; not primarily front-end only, ML/infrastructure-focused, or solutions engineering.
Experience leading technical design and architecture for production-grade healthcare software in a tech lead or architect capacity.
Experience integrating with enterprise APIs and handling messy, non-standard data in production systems.
Demonstrated product thinking: the ability to translate clinician and business problems into technical solutions with full end-to-end ownership.
Experience mentoring engineers or leading cross-functional teams.
Background at early-stage companies or startups; prior forward deployed engineering experience in healthcare is a strong plus.
Comfort working directly with senior stakeholders and navigating ambiguity in complex enterprise environments.
Willingness to travel domestically up to 15% per year (active deployment phases may require more).
