Forward Deployed Engineer

About the Role

Join a founding deployment team at a seed-stage AI software company, delivering end-to-end AI implementations for enterprise customers. You will work across engineering, product, and business teams to turn complex workflows into practical agent-based solutions and help shape how the deployment function grows.

What You'll Do

• Own enterprise customer engagements from discovery and deployment through scaling, working with executive stakeholders and end users.

• Embed with customers in financial services and semiconductor sectors to understand their workflows and design AI agent solutions.

• Build custom AI workflows, data integrations, and agent systems that address customer needs and work within platform capabilities.

• Share insights from customer deployments with product teams and help inform the platform roadmap.

• Partner with the founding deployment team and senior leadership to develop deployment strategy, staffing, and operating practices.

What We're Looking For

• 2 to 6 years of relevant experience, including experience delivering AI implementations in enterprise environments.

• Strong systems thinking and the ability to translate complex business challenges into technical solutions.

• Experience with agent-driven development, AI/ML systems, LLMs, APIs, and data pipelines.

• Familiarity with Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and enterprise integrations.

• Based in San Francisco or New York, available to work on-site, and willing to travel up to 50%.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual salary range: $160,000 to $220,000 USD. Visa sponsorship is available.

Location

On-site, with San Francisco as the primary location. Candidates based in New York are also considered.
