Forward Deployed Engineer, Mid-Level

About the Role

Join a fast-growing AI engineering team as a Forward Deployed Engineer, building and deploying production AI systems for enterprise clients. You will work directly with client teams to turn complex business needs into reliable software that continues to operate in production.

What You'll Do

• Own the full lifecycle of AI workflows and agentic systems, from architecture through production deployment.

• Ramp up on unfamiliar client codebases and deliver production-quality software with minimal guidance.

• Partner with executives and engineering teams across industries to understand needs and shape practical solutions.

• Collaborate with AI strategists to scope projects, then build systems that work reliably beyond the initial deployment.

• Use modern AI development tools where helpful to accelerate engineering work.

What We're Looking For

• Three to eight years of production software engineering experience, including personally building and deploying substantial, complex systems.

• Full-stack product engineering experience and a track record of shipping end-to-end features.

• Experience delivering AI workflows or agentic systems in production for enterprise clients.

• Production experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, including hands-on work with cloud infrastructure beyond managed application platforms.

• Experience working at a startup, with the agency and pace to contribute in a fast-moving environment.

• Strong client-facing communication skills and comfort partnering with engineering teams and senior business stakeholders.

• Familiarity with tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex is useful.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation is $180,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
