We're hiring a Forward Deployed Software Engineer for an enterprise AI company building a new technical foundation for insurance claims. Backed by more than $50M in funding, the team deploys software that processes images, documents, calls, sensor data, policy information, and complex business rules for major insurers and enterprise operators.

This is an engineering-first deployment role. You will write production code, integrate systems, and improve the underlying platform. Customer collaboration is central because the best technical solution depends on understanding how the workflow operates in practice.

📍 Location: San Francisco Mission office, on-site Monday through Friday
💰 Comp Range: $165K to $250K base plus competitive equity

What You'll Own
• Python services and integrations for customer deployments
• Architecture across models, APIs, data, and production workflows
• Reliability and graceful handling of real-world edge cases
• Integration with customer technology and operational systems
• Fast prototyping followed by production hardening
• Reusable product capabilities discovered through deployments

You Might Be a Fit If You…
• Are a strong software engineer with excellent Python fundamentals
• Understand data structures, algorithms, APIs, and system design
• Have built and operated production systems
• Can work directly with customers without becoming a support engineer
• Are comfortable making pragmatic trade-offs under ambiguity
• Communicate technical reasoning clearly while building

• Built LLM applications, agents, or model-powered workflows
• Worked at an early-stage startup with high ownership
• Led a customer integration or complex software deployment
• Developed evaluation or observability for AI systems
