Forward Deployed Strategist

About the Role

Join a team delivering AI-powered workflow automation to enterprise customers. You will own strategic deployments from initial pilot through production scale, combining commercial leadership, stakeholder management, and hands-on execution.

What You'll Do

• Own enterprise customer relationships and commercial outcomes, from scoping and negotiating pilots through expansion.

• Understand customer processes, align stakeholders, and define measurable success criteria for each deployment.

• Lead cross-functional delivery teams, including engineers, to launch pilots and scale successful solutions into production.

• Manage change, resolve blockers, and keep operational and executive stakeholders aligned throughout delivery.

• Identify opportunities to expand deployments across customer teams and locations.

What We're Looking For

• Typically 3 to 7 years of experience in strategy consulting, enterprise sales or account management, business operations, or enterprise software deployment.

• Experience directly managing enterprise relationships, leading complex projects, and owning commercial targets such as expansion, renewals, or pilot conversion.

• A record of delivering end-to-end customer deployments with measurable outcomes, from defining the problem and business case to scaling solutions into production.

• Ability to navigate complex organizations, align stakeholders from operations through executive leadership, and drive organizational change.

• Technical fluency sufficient to understand AI-enabled workflow automation and discuss implementation with engineering teams; an engineering background is not required.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $170,000 to $225,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.

Location

On-site in San Francisco, California, or New York City, New York. Candidates should be based in or willing to relocate to one of these locations.
