Read This First We work with unusual intensity. In-person in San Francisco, six days a week, long days, most weekends. This is not a phase we'll grow out of. It's how we've chosen to build, because we're in a market where speed decides who wins. We're telling you this in the first paragraph, not the last, because we only want people who read that and feel pulled in, not talked into it. Here's what you get in exchange: Founding GTM title and scope. You're not joining a sales team, you're building the machine that a future team will run. Your playbook becomes the company's playbook. Meaningful equity you can believe in. Significant grants, employee-friendly terms, and our intent to create liquidity opportunities as we raise. Strong cash + uncapped upside. Competitive base with commission structure you help design. Founders in the trenches. We sell alongside you. Every deal you source gets founder attention. Compression of a decade into two years. You'll build pipeline, close logos, and shape GTM strategy at a pace no later-stage company can offer. About Cekura Cekura (YC F24) is building the voice AI engineer. Teams use Cekura to test agents before going live, monitor real production calls, and self-improve continuously. Cekura doesn't just flag issues and suggest fixes: it reproduces failures in simulation, fixes them, tests the fix thoroughly, and raises PRs. We're trusted where reliability is non-negotiable: customers include Five9, HighLevel, Twin Health, PwC, Deloitte, Jobber, and Jotform, with HIPAA, SOC 2, and GDPR as defaults, not checkboxes. We're growing fast and backed by top investors. About the Role You'll own revenue end to end: source it, work it, close it. Voice AI is exploding, and every team deploying an agent has a reliability problem, most just don't know how to name it yet. Your job is to find them, teach them, and carry the deal from first touch to signed contract. This is a full-cycle, builder role. There is no SDR team feeding you meetings and no established playbook to run. You'll write the first version of both. And close the deals it produces. What You'll Do Build the outbound machine. Design and run the full prospecting motion: ICP definition, account research, multi-channel sequences (email, LinkedIn, phone, events), and the tooling stack behind it. Close full-cycle. Run discovery, demos, technical evaluation, procurement, and negotiation through to signature. Founders join your key deals, but the deals are yours to drive. Sell a technical product to technical buyers. Our buyers are heads of engineering, VPs of CX, and AI leads deploying voice agents. You'll run discovery that goes deep on latency, barge-in, evals, and CI/CD for agents, and demo credibly alongside founders. Turn conferences and communities into pipeline. Voice AI has a dense ecosystem (hackathons, meetups, provider communities around Vapi, Retell, LiveKit, Pipecat). You'll work it in person. Write the playbook. Document what works: messaging, objection handling, qualification criteria, sequences. What you build is what the next five GTM hires will run. Feed the product loop. You're the voice of the market inside a 12-person engineering-heavy team. What you hear in discovery calls shapes the roadmap. About You You were an engineer first. You wrote production software (or something close: data science, solutions architecture, technical consulting) before moving toward the business side. You then broadened deliberately: consulting, an MBA, BizOps, sales engineering, or founding something. You chose the commercial side; you didn't fall into it. You want to build a GTM function, not inherit one. Ambiguity energizes you. You can whiteboard how an LLM-based voice agent works and where it breaks, and you're comfortable being the least technical person in the room without being lost. You write exceptionally well. Outbound lives or dies on writing. Deep familiarity with US enterprise buyers and how they purchase software. Minimum Qualifications 2+ years in a technical role (software engineering or adjacent) at some point in your career. 2+ years in a commercial, consulting, or GTM-adjacent role. Authorized to work in the US. Strong written and verbal communication. Nice to Have MBA or strategy consulting background on top of an engineering foundation. Experience selling dev tools, infrastructure, or AI products. Existing network among CX, contact center, or voice AI buyers. Early-stage startup experience (first or founding GTM hire, or founder). This Is Not for You If You want an established playbook, an SDR team, and warm inbound handed to you. You're a pure closer who doesn't want to prospect, or a pure prospector who hands off before the close. You need rigid processes or heavy structure. You're optimizing for work-life balance right now. You don't want to work in-person in San Francisco. Why Cekura Own the full revenue cycle for one of the most urgent problems in AI: every voice agent in production needs reliability infrastructure. Real enterprise logos already on the board (Five9, PwC, Deloitte) proving the market pulls. A 15-person team post-seed: early enough that your playbook defines the company's GTM DNA. Meaningful equity, competitive base plus uncapped commission, fast growth. Medical, dental, vision, daily lunches and dinners. Visa: Will sponsor.
