About the Role
We're looking for a founding marketing lead to grow awareness and adoption of AI products among technical communities. You'll work closely with product, sales, and company leadership, building the programs that connect researchers and developers with the team's products.
What You'll Do
Lead US product launches and improve signups, activation, onboarding, and ongoing product usage.
Build and manage technical communities, including online spaces, product updates, office hours, and a CRM to track engagement and potential sales conversations.
Organize hackathons, meetups, and partner events that support adoption and pipeline growth.
Coordinate the company's presence at major AI and robotics conferences, including demos, meetings, and post-event follow-up.
Manage partner marketing activities, such as joint content, speaking opportunities, and events.
Coordinate with the PR agency, prepare spokespeople, and support journalist and analyst meetings.
Build a university and research-lab partnership program, including lab talks, campus events, and student community engagement.
Develop customer case studies, references, and co-speaking opportunities, managing approvals through publication.
Create timely social content, and conduct weekly user interviews to share product insights with the team.
What We're Looking For
Four to seven years of experience in growth, community, developer relations, or ecosystem marketing at an AI, infrastructure, or developer tools company.
Experience growing product adoption or a technical community with measurable results, ideally at an early-stage startup.
Technical fluency to demo AI and machine learning products and engage credibly with ML and robotics researchers.
Strong writing and hands-on content skills, including creating copy and demo clips and building prospect lists.
Experience with tools such as Discord, Slack, a CRM, social platforms, email marketing, and analytics dashboards.
University or research-lab partnership experience is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
Annual salary range: $150,000 to $200,000. Visa sponsorship is available.
Location
Hybrid role based in San Francisco, California, United States.
