About the Role
Join a small, founding-stage team building AI systems for financial markets. You will work across the trading stack, turning ideas into production systems and helping the team test new approaches to market prediction.
What You'll Do
Take projects from initial idea through implementation and production across the trading stack.
Build and extend data pipelines, trading signals, and research infrastructure.
Develop automated execution systems and tools that help the team move quickly from research ideas to live experiments.
Partner with quantitative and AI researchers to develop and test approaches to market prediction.
Contribute across trading infrastructure, machine learning, and security as team needs evolve.
What We're Looking For
One to five years of full-time experience as a software engineer or quantitative developer.
A degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, physics, or a related field.
Strong software engineering skills in Python or C++, and experience using AI-assisted development tools.
Ownership of a software project from ideation through production, with the ability to work independently in an ambiguous environment.
Background in quantitative development, trading systems, data infrastructure, systematic research, high-frequency trading, crypto, or fintech.
Strong statistical intuition and comfort working with noisy real-world data.
Compensation & Benefits
Annual salary range: $200,000 to $300,000. Visa sponsorship is available.
Location
On-site in Palo Alto, California, United States, six days per week.
