About the Role
Build and scale the core user experience for a consumer fintech trading platform. You will work closely with design and backend engineering partners to turn real-time market data into fast, clear interfaces that help people make informed trading decisions.
What You'll Do
Build and maintain web applications and reusable UI libraries that are fast, accessible, and scalable.
Develop high-performance interactive charts and real-time visualizations for market data.
Improve application speed and reliability through performance work and caching strategies.
Integrate REST APIs and WebSocket streams, and manage robust client-side state.
Maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, previews, testing, and rollbacks.
What We're Looking For
1 to 10 years of professional frontend engineering experience, with strong React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and CSS skills.
Experience building latency-sensitive, real-time interfaces, ideally for trading or financial markets; experience in gaming or casino products is also relevant.
Hands-on experience with WAAPI, REST APIs, WebSockets, and frontend testing tools such as Jest, Vitest, or Cypress.
A genuine interest in trading and financial markets, supported by familiarity with trading products.
Demonstrable shipped frontend work and recent code samples, with the ability to work effectively without relying on AI coding tools.
A degree is not required; bootcamp and self-taught backgrounds are welcome.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $185,000 to $300,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available for TN visas; otherwise, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Location
On-site in New York, New York, United States.
