Show job description

Premier Global Links LLC is recruiting on behalf of a growing AI technology company focused on healthcare education, simulation, and learning technology.

We are seeking a hands-on Full Stack Product Engineer who enjoys building software, solving customer problems, and taking ownership of technical challenges in a fast-paced startup environment.

This is a unique opportunity for an early-career engineer to work directly with company founders, customers, and the engineering team. The role combines full-stack product development, technical troubleshooting, customer-facing engineering, and workflow automation.

Initially, you will help resolve technical issues across the company's AI avatar simulation, Learning Management System (LMS), field experience, and compliance products. As you develop a deeper understanding of the platform and automate recurring support processes, you will take on increasing responsibility for designing, building, and shipping customer-facing product features.

The ideal candidate is an independent problem-solver who can move between customer conversations, technical debugging, automation, and software development without requiring detailed day-to-day direction.

Key Responsibilities

Full-Stack Product Development

  • Design, develop, test, and ship product features used by students, professors, and university administrators.
  • Build and improve customer-facing applications across AI avatar simulations, LMS, field experience, and compliance products.
  • Translate customer feedback and product requirements into practical technical solutions.
  • Contribute to product architecture, engineering practices, and development workflows.
  • Work closely with founders and the engineering team to prioritize and deliver product improvements.

Technical Support and Troubleshooting

  • Own technical customer support across the company's AI-powered education and simulation products.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues reported by professors, students, and university administrators.
  • Communicate directly with customers through email, calls, and other support channels.
  • Handle straightforward technical support requests initially and progressively take ownership of more complex technical problems.
  • Investigate recurring issues, identify root causes, and implement long-term solutions.

Automation and Engineering Operations

  • Build internal tools and automations to reduce repetitive technical support work.
  • Improve operational efficiency through scripts, integrations, and AI-powered workflows.
  • Contribute to AI-agent-driven engineering and operational processes.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual workflows and improve the overall customer experience.
  • Balance immediate customer needs with longer-term product development priorities.

Required Qualifications

  • 0–4 years of professional experience as a Full-Stack Engineer, Software Engineer, Forward-Deployed Engineer, or in a similar technical role.
  • Strong hands-on full-stack software development experience.
  • Experience working at an early-stage startup, on a founding team, or independently building software products.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and solve ambiguous engineering problems independently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take ownership without detailed day-to-day supervision.
  • Comfortable communicating directly with customers and translating their problems into technical solutions.
  • Interest in working across customer support, automation, and product engineering responsibilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work on-site in Midtown Manhattan, New York City, five days per week.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working at an early-stage, high-growth, or Y Combinator (YC)-backed startup.
  • Experience in EdTech, healthcare technology, or university-focused software environments.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered applications, AI agents, or AI-assisted development workflows.
  • Experience building internal tools, automations, integrations, or customer-facing software.
  • Experience providing technical support for software products or working in a customer-facing engineering role.
  • Strong academic background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing priorities, and take on increasing technical responsibility.

Work Schedule and Location

  • Full-time, on-site position based in Midtown Manhattan, New York, NY.
  • Five days per week in the office.
  • Close collaboration with company founders, customers, and the engineering team.
  • Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual salary of $160,000–$200,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • Additional compensation flexibility may be available for exceptional candidates.
  • Relocation assistance provided.
  • Direct collaboration with company founders and engineering leadership.
  • Significant ownership and responsibility within an early-stage AI technology company.
  • Opportunity to work across customer-facing engineering, automation, and full-stack product development.
  • Opportunity to grow into an increasingly influential product engineering role.
