About the Role

Join the core engineering team at a fast-growing, YC-backed voice AI startup and help shape a platform that powers millions of AI-driven conversations. You will work across the entire stack, bridging backend architecture with polished frontend experiences, and collaborate closely with the founding team to drive product direction and impact.

What You'll Do

Build and ship core features including prompt orchestration, dashboards, analytics, and telephony integrations.
Design and maintain scalable full-stack systems, from polished UIs to robust APIs and DevOps workflows.
Lead projects end-to-end, owning architecture, coding, deployment, and iteration.
Create intuitive interfaces and APIs that enable customers to onboard and activate quickly.
Support customer onboarding, debug production issues, and translate feedback into product improvements.

What We're Looking For

5+ years of full-stack development experience with strong CS fundamentals.
Proficiency in React and TypeScript for frontend development.
Proficiency in Python and/or Node.js for backend development.
Hands-on experience with AWS and distributed backend systems.
Background in Voice AI, telephony platforms, or related real-time communication infrastructure is a strong plus.
Experience building products or infrastructure at fast-growing, venture-backed startups, ideally including founding engineer or early-stage roles.
A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $215,000 to $290,000 USD annually, plus equity. Visa sponsorship is available.

Location

This is an on-site role based in Redwood City, California.
