Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Gymnastics Coach | Aerobic Gymnastics role based in Kowloon. The coach will plan and deliver aerobic gymnastics and tumbling training sessions for different age groups and ability levels, ensuring safe skill progression and adherence to facility guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include demonstrating techniques, supervising practice, providing constructive feedback, and preparing athletes for internal assessments, performances, or competitions. The role involves monitoring athlete development, maintaining training records, communicating with parents or guardians about progress, and collaborating with other coaches to align on program goals. The coach will also help with class organization, equipment setup and safety checks, and may assist with events, workshops, and promotional activities related to FLAIR’s gymnastics programs.


Qualifications

  • Strong technical ability and teaching experience in Gymnastics and Aerobic Gymnastics.
  • Skill in Tumbling and related floor exercises, with an emphasis on safe progression and spotting techniques.
  • Proven Coaching and Sports Coaching skills, including planning sessions, setting goals, and motivating athletes.
  • Effective Communication skills for interacting with athletes, parents or guardians, and colleagues.
  • Previous coaching experience in a club, school, or sports academy setting; experience with youth athletes is highly beneficial.
  • Relevant coaching certifications or safety training (e.g., first aid, CPR) are an advantage.
  • Ability to maintain a safe training environment, follow safeguarding practices, and work collaboratively within a coaching team.
  • Availability to work a full-time schedule, including evenings or weekends as program needs require.
