Furniture Delivery & Installation Specialist

Defure Furniture Trading LLC is a manufacturer of upholstered custom furniture based in Dubai, established in 2016. Since then, we have made hundreds of private and corporate clients happy with our individual approach, quality and speed. Our major customer group is interior designers, looking for furniture production with their unique designs and measurements – we make beds, sofas, wall panels, curtains, tables, marble items, mirrors and many more. Among our clients were Sharjah Airport, Marriott, Mercure, other hotels, fashion brands and restaurants with amazing projects that bring beauty and comfort to daily life.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and install furniture & curtains for all company orders (5-15 order deliveries per week) in accordance with logistics schedule, company standards and client’s brief.
• Manage collections, on-site measurements, repair, furniture templates delivery.
• Make necessary preparation for each delivery: routes, building entrances, elevator booking, security permits, gate pass, toolkits, uniform and floor protection in accordance with company regulations and safety standards.
• Coordinate with the team and clients, reconfirm delivery time slots, estimated arrival time; mitigate possible risks (delays, damage), report reclamations, provide updates immediately to the team.
• Post-installation: remove garbage, leftover materials, apply protective wrap; report on completion of every job with photo, video and signed delivery note.
• Represent the company during deliveries: communicate with clients at the delivery site, maintaining the company's image, answering questions, and clarifying preferences and any necessary information for the team.
• Hire helpers, trucks and suppliers for logistics; control delivery charges, approve extra costs with the Operations Manager. Coordinate and control the installation team, provide briefing, tools, uniform.
• Follow and update the delivery schedule.

Requirements

• Experience in delivery, assembly and installation of furniture and curtains – 3 years.
• Expert knowledge in installation types, furniture mechanisms, motorized systems.
• Basic computer literacy (Google Sheets, internal software).
• English B1 – ability to communicate with clients and team.
• UAE driver’s license – 1 year and more.
• Own vehicle (preferrably).

Conditions

• Full-time position 6/1, Monday to Saturday, 09:00-18:00 (UAE).
• Format: offline in the UAE.
• Paid vacation and sick leave.
• The paid internship lasts 2 months.
• Employment contract, visa, healthcare insurance upon completion of the internship.

Compensation

• Paid internship: the fixed compensation is 3600 AED per month.
• Employment: the total salary is 4000-4500 AED per month.
• Compensation of monthly expenses upon submitted bills within the limits: car allowance (for own car usage), Salik, parking, petrol.
• Annual vacation ticket to home country after completing a year of service.
