Game Mathematician/Developer

We are seeking a Game Math Developer who blends strong mathematical expertise with solid software engineering skills. You will own the math development lifecycle — writing production-level code, fine-tuning game mechanics, and prototyping new concepts. Working closely with Product Owners and developers, you’ll help turn bold ideas into high-performing, player-focused slot games. University degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; At least 4 years commercial experience as a game mathematician (or similar position) in online gambling; Strong coding skills in Python (OOP) ; candidates with extensive experience in Java or C# who are willing to quickly transition to Python are also welcome ; Proven experience working with production code (not just internal analytical scripts); Strong understanding of unit testing and code coverage); Exceptional problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail and math model troubleshooting; Deep knowledge and passion for the iGaming market, understanding popular slot mechanics and player behavior; Strong communication and soft skills: ability to clearly explain complex math concepts to non-math team members (QA, Front-End Developers, Producers); Open-mindedness, team-player attitude, and stress tolerance; Experience with Git or other Version Control Systems; Upper-Intermediate or Advanced English ( B2+ ), both written and spoken (ability to communicate with internal stakeholders and investors). Will be a plus Experience in developing client-server applications (e.g., Flask); Experience in cross-functional squads working closely with Producers, QA, and Front-End teams; Strong mathematical intuition, creativity, and drive to innovate within slot mechanics; Self-organization, ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload independently.
