Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Gastroenterologist (MD or DO) who is Board Certified or Board Eligible. The ideal candidate will bring clinical expertise, a patient-centered approach, and a commitment to excellence in digestive health care. Location: Hilo, HI Position Responsibilities Perform diagnostic procedures such as endoscopies, colonoscopies, and liver biopsies to evaluate and treat gastrointestinal conditions. Conduct comprehensive assessments, including history-taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations. Diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, preferences, and medical history. Collaborate closely with healthcare team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care. Minimum Qualifications Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school. Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Gastroenterology. Valid medical license to practice in the State of Hawaii (or eligibility for licensure). Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a practicing gastroenterologist following completion of an accredited gastroenterology fellowship program.
