Seeking a General Gastroenterologist to join a regional GI program in a medical center serving the Wheeling, West Virginia area.
Responsibilities include providing bread-and-butter gastroenterology services with no advanced endoscopy requirements, supporting inpatient consults, rounding, outpatient follow-up, and weekend call coverage with robust APP support.
The role offers a guaranteed base salary of $650,000 plus productivity incentives, with physicians typically producing 10,000-15,000 wRVUs annually.
It provides a flexible practice model allowing customization of clinic and procedure mix, and the opportunity to build a practice aligned with personal interests and professional goals.
Open to fellows, early-career, and experienced gastroenterologists, with J-1 and H-1B visa sponsorship available.
Practitioners can practice across multiple facilities within an integrated health system, with leadership-supported growth and future expansion prospects throughout the region.
