Work Shift Medical Oncologist – Georgia Cancer Center Join a Leading Cancer Program in Augusta, Georgia Wellstar Medical College of Georgia Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Medical Oncologist to join our growing oncology team at GCC Downtown in Augusta, Georgia. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a nationally recognized cancer program dedicated to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered cancer care while supporting education, research, and innovation. Position Highlights Full-time Medical Oncology opportunity Established referral network with a strong patient base Practice within a multidisciplinary cancer program that includes surgical oncology, radiation oncology, pathology, radiology, and supportive oncology services Access to advanced diagnostics, infusion services, clinical trials, and tumor board collaboration Opportunity to participate in teaching and mentoring medical students and residents Collaborative environment with experienced physicians, APPs, nurses, pharmacists, and support staff Epic EMR platform Competitive compensation model with productivity incentives Candidate Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology and Hematology Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Georgia Fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology from an accredited program Strong commitment to patient-centered care and multidisciplinary collaboration Interest in clinical research and academic medicine is welcomed About the Cancer Program The oncology program provides comprehensive cancer services across the region and is committed to expanding access to innovative treatments and evidence-based care.
