Highlights:
Employed position
Exceptional financial and practice-building opportunity
Opportunity for a general GI practice along with advanced endoscopy if desired
New physician will be busy quickly and receive strong marketing and practice support
Large, unsaturated geographic and population catchment area of ~ 450,000 in Texas Panhandle and border states
Shared call with community GI physicians
Responsibilities:
Support the NWTHS mission of delivering high quality, compassionate care to Amarillo and the Texas Panhandle region
Assess, diagnose and treat diseases and disorders of the digestive system
Perform common GI procedures and advanced procedures if desired
Requirements:
BC/BE Gastroenterology
required
Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency and fellowshp
required
Active, clear Texas license and DEA or ability to obtain
Clean professional background
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Compassionate bedside manner
