Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development, maintenance, and enhancement of GIS databases supporting the Transport Data Management System (TDMS).
  • Manage the collection, integration, validation, and spatial analysis of transport, mobility, infrastructure, and land-use datasets.
  • Develop and maintain geospatial data models, digital mapping products, and spatial information services for transport planning and decision-making.
  • Support transport planning, traffic engineering, and modelling teams through advanced spatial analysis and visualization tools.
  • Administer GIS platforms, geodatabases, and ArcGIS Enterprise environments to ensure data accessibility, security, and reliability.
  • Produce GIS dashboards, thematic maps, web mapping applications, and spatial reporting tools for MOT and stakeholders.
  • Establish GIS data standards, quality control procedures, metadata requirements, and geospatial governance practices.
  • Coordinate with government agencies and external stakeholders to facilitate data sharing, integration, and continuous improvement of transport geospatial assets.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geomatics, Geography, Surveying, Civil Engineering, Transportation Planning, or a related discipline; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in GIS, spatial analytics, geospatial database management, or transport-related GIS applications.
  • Proven experience implementing and managing ArcGIS Enterprise, enterprise geodatabases, and web-based GIS solutions.
  • Strong expertise in spatial analysis, geoprocessing, data integration, cartography, and geospatial visualization.
  • Experience supporting transport planning, mobility analytics, transportation modelling, or infrastructure management programs.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of GIS data governance, metadata management, data quality assurance, and geospatial standards.
  • Experience working with government agencies, transport authorities, or large-scale infrastructure programs; GCC experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder coordination, and technical reporting skills, with the ability to work within multidisciplinary project teams.
