WHO WE ARE

Supercomputing built for AI.

Cotidal is building the computing infrastructure that AI companies and research labs need to train and run their models. Starting with TPUs, we design the hardware and software together around their workloads, with the goal of making powerful AI chips easier to use at scale.

Our mission is endless compute for humanity. Over time, we want customers to choose across chip stacks without rebuilding their infrastructure.

THE ROLE

We’re hiring a Global Supply Manager, Data Center MEP to own sourcing and supply for the mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment that powers and cools Cotidal’s data centers. You will build and validate suppliers internationally, negotiate commercial agreements and secure equipment that meets our cost, quality and delivery needs.

Your scope includes switchgear, transformers, UPS, generators, busway, PDUs/RPPs, CDUs, chillers, cooling towers, CRAHs and liquid-cooling distribution. You will work closely with engineering, construction, colocation providers and site partners to get this equipment delivered in time for our data center roadmap.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Build and manage a global supplier base for data center MEP equipment, including OEMs, distributors and integrators across North America, Europe and Asia.

  • Own RFIs, RFQs and RFPs, competitive bidding and supplier awards. Evaluate cost, lead times, quality and delivery to select suppliers and manage supply.

  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, warranties and short- and long-term commercial agreements, including MSAs, terms and conditions, and pricing agreements.

  • Secure manufacturing slots and reserve capacity for long-lead equipment such as transformers, switchgear, generators and chillers. Work with suppliers on capacity allocation to meet data center build schedules.

  • Track orders from purchase order through delivery, including factory tests, expediting, logistics and site receipt.

  • Partner with engineering on specifications, BOMs and value engineering. Qualify alternate suppliers to reduce supply risk.

  • Monitor market conditions, lead times, commodity prices and tariffs. Identify supply risks and adjust sourcing strategies as conditions change.

  • Manage supplier performance, resolve quality issues and lead supplier escalations.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • 3 to 5+ years of hands-on experience in strategic sourcing, procurement or supply chain, with at least 2–3 years focused on data center or mission-critical MEP equipment.

  • Hands-on experience procuring electrical and mechanical equipment such as switchgear, transformers, UPS, generators, chillers or CDUs.

  • A track record of negotiating multi-million-dollar contracts and framework agreements.

  • Strong relationships with major MEP OEMs and channel partners.

  • Comfort reading single-line diagrams, equipment schedules and technical specifications.

  • Experience managing suppliers across multiple regions and time zones.

  • A bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, business or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Ability to work onsite from our Palo Alto office and travel 25–40% domestically and internationally.

ESPECIALLY VALUABLE

Experience in one or more of the following:

  • Liquid cooling for high-density AI or HPC deployments, including direct-to-chip cooling, CDUs and rear-door heat exchangers.

  • A background at a hyperscale company, colocation provider, neocloud or MEP OEM.

  • Familiarity with prefabricated or modular power and cooling skids.

  • Knowledge of tariffs, import/export and international logistics.

  • Startup experience and comfort working with limited process.

WHY JOIN COTIDAL

Help secure the power and cooling equipment that makes our AI infrastructure possible. Your work will connect supplier capability, cost and manufacturing capacity with the dates when our data center deployments can come online.

Help shape the foundations of an early company through direct discussion and work across engineering, construction and supply chain.
