Your Profile & DNA:

We are looking for an experienced Golang Platform Engineer to join the Container Technology & Operations team within Platform Engineering.

You’ll work on strategic Kubernetes-based platform services that enable application teams to build, deploy, and run secure, scalable, and resilient applications in a large-scale banking environment.

This is a hands-on role combining Golang development, Kubernetes, cloud-native technologies, automation, infrastructure, CI/CD, and platform engineering.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operate Kubernetes-based platform services.
• Develop production-grade applications and services using Go/Golang.
• Build automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions.
• Manage and troubleshoot Kubernetes and container environments.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement monitoring, logging, metrics, and observability.
• Troubleshoot Linux, networking, Kubernetes, and cloud-native issues.
• Improve developer experience through self-service and reusable platform capabilities.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Security, Architecture, Risk, Infrastructure, and Operations teams.
• Ensure platform solutions meet enterprise security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement, reliability, scalability, and operational excellence.

Qualification & Experience

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
• Strong hands-on Golang / Go experience
• Strong production experience with Kubernetes
• Solid container technology knowledge
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills
• Good understanding of networking concepts
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Hands-on CI/CD experience
• Experience with cloud-native architectures
• Experience with automation and DevOps practices
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability
• Strong troubleshooting and production operations experience
• Excellent English communication and stakeholder management skills

Good-to-Have Skills

• Kubernetes certifications: CKA, CKAD, or CKS
• OpenShift or other enterprise container platforms
• Service mesh: Istio / Linkerd
• GitOps: Argo CD / Flux
• Public cloud: Azure / AWS / GCP
• Terraform / Ansible
• Helm
• Prometheus / Grafana / OpenTelemetry
• Kubernetes Operators / Controllers
• Experience in banking or other highly regulated environments
