Position Details: Job Title: Graduate Mining Engineer Location: West Australian Operations Employment Type: Permanent full-time, FIFO from Perth or Kalgoorlie Residential Roster: Roster varies by program stage – 7/7 12-hour shifts underground & 4/3 12-hour shifts for Project Engineer About the role: Our three-year Underground Mining Engineer Graduate Program provides the practical experience and technical development needed to build a strong foundation in underground mining operations. You’ll gain hands-on experience across all key operational areas in the underground mining cycle, working closely with our teams while developing the skills required to gain the WA Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competency or Underground Shift Supervisor’s Certificate of Competency . You will also take ownership of meaningful projects later in the program, delivering operational improvements and cost-saving outcomes across the business. You will develop integral skills in budgeting, financial analysis, operational analysis, and project execution while working with stakeholders at all levels. This role provides the perfect foundation for not only a successful mining engineering career but provides the foundation for future industry leaders. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor of Engineering, or a Degree/Diploma in Mining Engineering or a related discipline Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships High level of computer literacy, with strong analytical and data interpretation skills Current “C” Class Western Australian Drivers Licence As a Graduate, you will be expected to: Be proactive in building your skills, knowledge and experience.
