Job Description Our bilingual kindergarten in Guangzhou is now recruiting qualified English teachers to be a part of our close-knit community of professional educators. Curriculum Overview (About the Role) Classes focus on a communicative approach to English language development. • Emphasizes English activities, group work, and project-based learning • Incorporates story-telling and role-plays to build confidence • Encourages playful learning and student engagement • Supports social-emotional development alongside language acquisition • Allows teachers to contribute to curriculum enhancement and material creation Teachers have the flexibility to develop creative lessons and shape the educational direction of the school. Position Overview The Kindergarten English Teacher prepares and delivers professional lessons while assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback. This role works within a supportive team and reports to the academic coordinator. Teachers also participate in seasonal school activities, shows, and open houses as part of the school community. Working Hours • Days: Monday – Friday (weekends off) • Time schedule: 8:00 AM – 11:30 AM and 2:30 PM – 5:00 PM • Break details: Maximum 40 working hours per week with lunch break included Class Structure • Class size: Maximum 30 students per class • Details: Student ages 2 to 6 years old • Teaching team per class: o Lead English Teacher o Chinese Homeroom Teacher o Teaching Assistant Key Responsibilities • Prepare and carry out lessons professionally and effectively • Help edit, enhance, and create new materials for classes and students • Correct, record, and administer progress reports for students • Assess and record student progress and provide grades and feedback • Observe and understand student behavior and educational needs • Substitute for absent colleagues when needed, possibly on short notice • Occasionally work outside normal business hours for marketing or school events (with advance notice) • Take part in seasonal school activities, shows, and open houses • Take initiative and be an active, proactive member of the school community Requirements Our bilingual kindergarten in Guangzhou is now recruiting qualified English teachers to be a part of our close-knit community of professional educators.
