Guidewire Execution PM

We are looking for an experienced Guidewire Execution Project Manager to take responsibility for delivery within Guidewire Suite implementation projects. In this role, you will support customers in achieving their business goals by leading multiple teams across project planning, progress management, risk management, and stakeholder management.

Job Overview:

This position is responsible for delivery within Guidewire Suite implementation projects and supports customers in achieving their business goals. Through project planning, progress management, risk management, and stakeholder management, you will lead multiple teams across the project to ensure successful delivery. This position provides an opportunity to use advanced project management skills and insurance industry knowledge to continuously deliver value to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire system development process for Guidewire Suite projects.
• Develop and manage project plans in collaboration with business partners and shared services.
• Apply project management processes and lead and manage IT program teams.
• Resolve project issues and manage risks.
• Conduct project meetings and track project progress.
• Ensure vendor performance meets contractual specifications and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) without issues.
• Provide technical and analytical support to project team members.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience participating from the vendor side in projects for customers in Japan.
• Experience in stakeholder management.
• Strong understanding of project management concepts and SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) methodologies.
• Ability to collaborate with onsite delivery teams to resolve customer issues.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Fluent-level Japanese.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Experience in the insurance industry or financial services industry.
• PMP certification with Agile/Lean experience.
• Experience with Guidewire Cloud.

Language Requirements:

• Japanese: Fluent level
• English: Preferred, but not mandatory
