We are inviting you to take full ownership of scaling and transforming the Group’s Accounting function to support rapid global business growth. You will lead a multidisciplinary team of 30+ professionals across 4 functional streams — Global Accounting, Global FinOps, Global Payroll, and Global Tax — driving IFRS compliance, financial data accuracy, cross-functional alignment, process automation, and international tax optimization. Key Responsibilities Lead, develop, and scale an Accounting Department of 29+ members across Global Accounting, Global FinOps, Global Payroll, and Global Tax streams. Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements under IFRS (multi-currency consolidation, intercompany elimination). Develop and implement unified group-wide accounting standards, including global accounting policies, chart of accounts, and methodologies for complex and non-standard transactions. Manage the full-cycle Group audit process, including auditor selection and rotation, Audit Plan alignment, resolution of complex technical issues, and monitoring post-audit remediations. Prepare regulatory reporting under CySEC requirements and other regulators (FSA, FSC Mauritius, BVI FSC, etc.). Monitor and ensure compliance with capital adequacy prudential standards across all existing licenses. Maintain an optimal and protected international tax structure, monitor the Group's Effective Tax Rate, defend Transfer Pricing methodologies, and ensure intercompany transactions are fully covered by up-to-date documentation. Track changes in tax legislation across all operating jurisdictions. Drive continuous improvement, automate accounting workflows and ERP systems, and shorten period-close cycles (Fast Close). Provide expert guidance to executive leadership (CEO/CFO) on the accounting and tax implications of strategic business decisions. Evaluate risks and support market entry into new regions and jurisdictions. Requirements 3+ years of proven track record as a Head of Accounting, Chief Accountant, or Accounting Team Lead within medium- to large-scale companies. Strong hands-on experience in IFRS financial statement preparation and multi-currency consolidations (managing groups of 5+ legal entities is mandatory). Proven track record in accounting process automation, ERP implementations, and Fast Close methodology (ability to translate business needs into technical specifications for IT). Clear understanding of Transfer Pricing principles and intercompany transactions. Experience managing full-cycle annual external audits with top-tier audit firms. Experience overseeing payroll operations, international contractor payments (B2B), and ensuring tax compliance. Proven team leadership experience with a supportive, mentoring-driven leadership style. Fluent English (Upper-Intermediate or higher) and Ukrainian languages. Full willingness to relocate to Limassol, Cyprus after adaptation period. Will be a plus: Experience managing accounting for non-resident entities, deep knowledge of the Cyprus tax system, VAT, EU financial regulations, and audit requirements. Experience in preparing financial regulatory reporting (e.g., CySEC). ACCA, CPA, or CIMA certifications (completed or in progress).
