Credit Head (UAE Banking Experience)

We are seeking an experienced and highly knowledgeable Credit Head to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate must have strong UAE local banking experience with a solid background in credit assessment, business banking, corporate finance, and commercial lending.

The candidate will be responsible for assessing client financial profiles, evaluating creditworthiness, reviewing financial and supporting documents, and coordinating suitable financing solutions with banks and financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate client financing applications, credit profiles, and financial requirements.
• Communicate with clients to understand their business activities, financial requirements, and eligibility.
• Analyze and assess bank statements, financial statements, VAT returns/VAT certificates, company documents, trade licenses, and other financial information required for credit assessment.
• Review and verify client documentation, including trade licenses, bank statements, VAT documents, company documents, financial statements, identification documents, and other supporting documents required by banks and financial institutions.
• Evaluate creditworthiness, repayment capacity, business performance, financial position, and potential credit risks.
• Recommend suitable financing structures and solutions based on the client's financial profile.
• Have strong knowledge of business and commercial financing products, including project financing, bank guarantees, trade finance, working capital facilities, letters of credit, asset finance, business finance, supplier payments, auto dealer loans, POS loans, fleet financing, machinery and equipment finance, invoice discounting, trade facilities, mortgages, and equity release.
• Coordinate with banks and financial institutions regarding credit applications, additional requirements, approvals, and financing offers.
• Review bank credit requirements and ensure applications are properly prepared before submission.
• Identify potential credit risks and recommend appropriate risk-mitigation measures.
• Monitor applications throughout the credit assessment and approval process.
• Provide guidance to sales and banking coordination teams regarding credit requirements, documentation, and application preparation.
• Maintain accurate records of credit assessments, applications, approvals, and client information.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with bankers, financial institutions, clients, and internal teams.
• Ensure all client and financial information is handled with strict confidentiality.
• Support management in developing effective credit and financing strategies.

Requirements

• UAE local banking experience is mandatory.
• Strong experience in Credit, Corporate Banking, Business Banking, SME Banking and Commercial Finance.
• Strong knowledge of UAE banking and lending practices.
• Excellent understanding of business and corporate financing products.
• Strong knowledge of financial and company documentation required for business financing and credit assessment.
• Strong ability to analyze financial statements, bank statements, VAT records, and company financial information.
• In-depth knowledge of UAE business financing and credit assessment.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and risk-assessment skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong understanding of bank credit policies and approval processes.
• Ability to work effectively with clients, bankers, financial institutions, and internal teams.
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday | 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Salary: AED 15,000 per month

Location: Dubai, UAE
