On behalf of our prominent UHNW Clients based out on the prestigious Palm Jumeirah in Dubai (UAE), we are seeking a full-time exceptionally-experienced Head of Housekeeping, with notable U.K. experience in managing housekeeping departments in 5-star hotels in London (Park Lane, W1, etc.) or in the US, - these top-tier hospitality establishments being part of wider international groups with a collection of world-class properties stretching across continents -.

The Candidate must have an operational knowledge of the housekeeping standards practiced in 5-star or 7-star hospitality and be of au fait with the aforementioned standards. This is a non-negotiable asset to be had in order to seamlessly fit in this role.

The family comprises 2 adults and 4 children living in a Villa on the Palm with 20 staff members catering to the family. The selected Head of Housekeeping will evidently have the potential of handling the Principals’ requests and will tactfully deal with female quarters, liaising with any of this stakeholder’s personnel within this prominent household.

The expertise-driven Head of Housekeeping will have 4 staff members to manage on the housekeeping team. In turn, the Head of Housekeeping will report to the PA who is a direct report to the Principals. The Candidate chosen must be able to work both independently and collaboratively, wholeheartedly taking the lead and being instrumental in the smooth running the housekeeping team.

The ultimate Head of Housekeeping will exude natural-born authority, whilst not being domineering, in order to instil confidence in their team, prompting each and every one of them to deliver their absolute best. With this in mind, the Head of Housekeeping will resort to their soft skills, diplomacy and flair, to meticulously organize, anticipate and strategize the implementation of all the Principals’ lifestyle-related requests by smartly getting the team into motion to best cater to the Principals’ needs, and this, across multiple homes if needed.

In this multi-faceted pivotal role, the Head of Housekeeping will lead by example, will deliver exceptional service, will routinely inspect each unit to ensure that all properties remain in pristine condition, will put new systems in place, test-drive them and oversee challenging projects with the utmost professionalism and depth & will be able to train and mentor their team. Equally importantly, it will be highly appreciated for the Head of Housekeeping to display utter efficiently, to keep the standards exceptionally high whilst conducting their role in the most discreet demeanour.

It shall be expected that your thorough, second-to-none expertise in all things crystallized around premium housekeeping management, leveraged by your high-end hospitality background, will clearly set you apart from your peers in the profession, notably when it comes to attending to the family’s needs and those of any affiliated prestigious guests.

It is a full-time position with a 2-week probation period.

This Dubai-based role is to start ASAP.

The duties shall include, but not limited to:

• Experience with UHNW and VVIP Principals.
  
• Prior housekeeping leadership roles in a luxurious environment: 5-star &/or 7-star establishments in the UK/US, etc.
  
• Used to managing a team: organizing shifts and rotas.
  
• If needed, writing & implementing SOP Manuals (Standard Operational Procedures).
  
• Catering to all the Principal’s needs, the family’s, the children’s & any guests.
  
• Maximizing guest experience.
  
• Strategic planning.
  
• Being used to working in fast-paced environments.
  
• Conducting tasks in the most-timely manner.
  
• Outstanding greeting skills.
  
• Strictly adhering to etiquette and security protocols.
  
• Etiquette expertise and flair.
  
• Holding open lines of communication with colleagues and other household staff.
  
• Running errands.
  
• In charge of the housekeeping inventories manually & digitally.
  
• Submitting and rolling out new ideas maximising the household.
  
• MUST be passport-ready to be able to travel with the employer to the UK, at very short notice, or to any other destinations internationally.
