Job Title: Head of Marketing

Location: Downtown San Francisco, CA– 5 days/week on-site

Reporting To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Compensation: $260,000 – $320,000 Base Salary + Competitive Equity

Employment Type: Full-time

About the Company

We are a highly profitable, Series A agentic AI company building transformative technology for credit unions and community banks. We are pioneering a new category in the financial services sector, and we need a visionary, hands-on marketing leader to ensure the market understands our value before competitors even get the chance.

About the Role

We are looking for a Head of Marketing with a deep foundation in B2B product marketing to own and scale our entire marketing function. This is not a purely delegatory management role. We need a "player-coach" who thrives on hands-on execution while simultaneously building and leading a small, elite senior team.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will oversee positioning, product marketing, demand generation, content, events, and brand. You will be the driving force behind our Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy, working in lockstep with Sales to drive pipeline growth and close deals.

What You Will Do

  • Own Product Marketing & Positioning: Lead all messaging and positioning across our full AI platform. You will be hands-on in translating complex technical capabilities into clear, compelling narratives for non-technical executives.
  • Drive GTM & Product Launches: Build and execute comprehensive GTM strategies for new product launches. Create high-impact sales enablement materials, including battlecards, playbooks, and competitive intelligence that directly increase win rates.
  • Fuel Demand Generation: Partner closely with the Sales team to drive pipeline contribution, co-owning the demand generation metrics and revenue targets.
  • Build & Lead the Team: Construct the marketing function from the ground up. Hire, coach, and develop a small team of senior marketers while setting the operational cadence for the department.
  • Evangelize the Brand: Serve as a key spokesperson and face of the company at industry events, analyst briefings, webinars, and customer forums.

What You Bring (Requirements)

  • Experience: 8–16 years of B2B marketing experience, specifically scaling up from a Product Marketing Manager or Director level.
  • Startup DNA: Proven experience at a scaling startup (Series A–D). You must have a track record of contributing to a company's growth journey with strong tenure (minimum 2+ years per role; no frequent job hopping).
  • Hands-On Execution: You are a doer. You have high-level management experience but are fully capable (and willing) to get in the weeds to write messaging, build enablement tools, and execute campaigns.
  • AI Fluency: You are a daily, power user of frontier AI tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor) and integrate them deeply into your workflow.
  • Communication Mastery: Exceptional ability to distill complex, agentic AI concepts into business value for financial sector executives.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated experience building, leading, and developing a small, high-performing marketing team.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Work Style: Ability to work on-site 5 days a week in our downtown San Francisco office.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Direct background in conversational AI, voice AI, agentic AI, or CX-automation companies.
  • A strong public speaking track record at major industry events, webinars, or analyst briefings.

What We Offer

  • Competitive Compensation: $260K - $320K base salary.
  • Ownership: Competitive equity package in a profitable, fast-growing Series A startup.
  • Visa Support: Open to visa transfers (e.g., OPT, H1B transfers) for the right candidate.
  • Prime Workspace: Collaborative, in-person culture located on the 21st floor in the heart of Downtown SF.
