Position: Head of Medicine Location: Nasiriyah, Dhi Qar Governorate, Iraq Contract Details: Full Time, Permanent We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Medicine for a reputed client in IRAQ, who is dedicated to providing high-quality medical services to the local community. Key Responsibilities: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the medical department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and efficient healthcare services. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance management of medical staff. Collaborate with other department heads to ensure seamless coordination and integration of services. Monitor and analyze departmental performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions. Manage the department's budget and resources effectively to ensure optimal utilization. Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the medical team. Stay updated with the latest developments and advancements in the medical field, and incorporate them into the department's practices. Act as a liaison between the medical department and other departments within the company. Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including government agencies, healthcare organizations, and medical professionals. Qualifications and Requirements: Medical degree from a recognized institution. Minimum of 8 years of experience as a physician of which 3 yrs is in the senior medical leadership role. Board certification Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and standards. Proven track record of successfully managing and leading a medical team. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Ability to make sound decisions under pressure. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
