You will be based in or commutable from one of the following locations: Hereford, Ludlow, Worcester, Malvern, Bromyard, Tenbury Wells, Ledbury, Kidderminster, Shrewsbury. Other locations also considered.

Are you a senior quality leader from a defence, aerospace or similarly regulated background looking for a strategic role heading up the quality function within a specialist manufacturing business?

In this role you will lead all quality assurance, quality control and compliance activities, reporting directly to the General Manager.

The company are a specialist in the design and manufacture of advanced technology and supply their products and solutions to blue chip clients across the globe. Due to continued investment and expansion plans they are now looking to further grow head count within the business.

This role would suit an experienced quality leader from a defence, aerospace or similar regulated background looking for a long-term permanent position.

The Role:

• Working as Head of Quality within a specialist technology manufacturing business
• Duties of the role will include but are not limited to; developing the quality strategy, owning the QMS, AS9100, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, defence standards, internal and external audits, quality KPIs, Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA, PPAP, APQP, supplier quality, leading the quality team and much more.

The Person:

• Senior quality leadership experience in a role such as; Head of Quality, Quality Manager, Quality Director or similar
• Experience within a manufacturing environment across defence, aerospace, electronics or a similarly regulated industry
• ISO9001 experience
• AS9100 experience considered beneficial but no essential
• Must be eligible for SC clearance
• Looking for a long-term permanent position
