About the role We are seeking a safety-focused Heavy Diesel Leading Hand to join our Mobile Maintenance Team. This hands-on role combines trade work with day-to-day team leadership, supporting a small team of underground heavy vehicle tradespeople. You’ll diagnose, repair and maintain underground mobile equipment, including loaders, haul trucks, graders and shotcreters, across our underground and surface workshops. Working closely with the Mobile Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll coordinate tasks, troubleshoot issues and help maximise fleet reliability, minimise downtime and maintain high safety and performance standards, using your expertise in diagnostics, hydraulics, welding and servicing. Roster: 7/7 (Day & Night Shift) Cycle: Tuesday > Wednesday Crew: B/C Shift Start: 7 Oct, 21 Oct, 4 Nov, 18 Nov Location: Peak Mine, Cobar NSW Travel options Residents enjoy a balanced roster and the opportunity to settle into the family-friendly township of Cobar.
