Our Sudbury HearCANADA team is hiring an Audiologist or Hearing Instrument Specialist to join our team.
We have two vacancies including a contract position (~18 mos with potential for extension) and a permanent position. Both positions are full-time Monday through Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm local time; candidates seeking alternate hours or part-time / casual positions may be considered depending on their scheduling availability and operational needs.
Salary: $75,000 - $105,000 / annum based on a full-time (37.5 hour) work week + bonus
Location: Sudbury, Ontario
Relocation Bonus Eligible: Yes
What you will do:
Support existing and new clients in their hearing journey by providing an assortment of audiological assessments and hearing evaluations
Staying abreast of new trends in hearing aid promotions, fittings, and technological advancements to make the most meaningful recommendations to clients
Building relationships with clients to ensure appropriate care is provided and post-care solutions are recommended
Collaborating with our clinic team members to support both walk-in clients and inbound phone calls
What we are looking for:
Graduate of a recognized HIS or Audiology program
Registration with AHIP or CASLPO in good standing
Commitment to a patient-centric approach
Precise communication skills - both orally and in writing
Experience working in a hearing clinic is preferred, however, candidates with experience in other audiology settings will be given equal consideration
Comfortability in working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Bilingualism in French/English is an asset
