An exceptional opportunity for an ambitious hospitality professional to join one of East Africa’s most sought-after oceanfront destinations. This stunning luxury resort is part of a prestigious global hospitality group with an outstanding portfolio of luxury properties worldwide.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Hotel Manager will serve as the resort’s second-in-command, providing strong operational leadership and ensuring the highest standards of guest experience, service excellence, and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the resort’s day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless execution across all departments.
• Drive exceptional guest satisfaction and uphold the highest standards of luxury hospitality.
• Lead, motivate, and develop operational teams, fostering a culture of accountability, service excellence, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain a visible, hands-on presence on the floor, leading by example and responding effectively to the demands of a fast-paced resort environment.
• Support the General Manager in achieving financial targets, operational efficiency, and strategic objectives.
• Champion innovation, operational excellence, and the effective use of technology to enhance performance.
• Act as a key leadership partner to the General Manager, with the potential to progress to a General Manager position in the future.

Candidate Profile

• Currently working as a Hotel Manager or Deputy General Manager within a luxury hotel or resort environment.
• Mandatory experience in luxury hospitality, with European-trained candidates preferred.
• Proven operational leadership experience in Africa, ideally within East Africa.
• A dynamic, energetic, and hands-on leader with a strong presence on the floor and an instinctive understanding of luxury service.
• Technically savvy, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
• Commercially astute, highly organized, and capable of balancing strategic thinking with operational execution.
• A high-potential hospitality leader with the ambition and capability to progress to a General Manager role.
