About the Role
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced HR Manager to join a leading international development and construction company in the UAE.
This is a broad HR leadership position responsible for overseeing the full employee lifecycle, including HR Operations, Recruitment, Compensation & Benefits, and Learning & Development.
The successful candidate will ideally be an experienced Indian or South Asian HR professional with a strong understanding of HR practices within complex, fast-paced organisations and the ambition to develop their career in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Operations
- Manage day-to-day HR operations and employee lifecycle processes, 200 head business.
- Ensure HR policies, procedures and processes are implemented effectively.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems.
- Support employee relations, performance management and disciplinary processes.
- Ensure compliance with UAE employment legislation and company policies.
- Provide HR advice and support to managers and employees across the organisation.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Lead recruitment activities across corporate, technical, construction and project-related functions.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements.
- Develop effective sourcing strategies to attract high-quality talent.
- Manage the recruitment process from vacancy approval through to offer and onboarding.
- Build talent pipelines for current and future business requirements.
- Work with recruitment agencies and external partners where required.
Compensation & Benefits
- Manage salary and benefits administration and ensure accurate and timely processing.
- Support salary reviews, annual compensation cycles and employee benefits programmes.
- Provide market salary benchmarking and recommendations.
- Assist with developing competitive compensation packages to attract and retain talent.
- Support payroll processes and ensure appropriate HR data is maintained.
Learning & Development
- Identify training and development requirements across the organisation.
- Develop and implement training programmes aligned with business objectives.
- Support management development and leadership programmes.
- Monitor training effectiveness and maintain appropriate development records.
- Help establish career development and succession planning initiatives.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
- 7–12+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally with experience in a large or international organisation.
- Experience across HR Operations, Recruitment, Compensation & Benefits and Learning & Development.
- Previous experience working within construction, property development, engineering, infrastructure or another project-driven environment is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures and employment practices.
- Experience managing relationships with senior managers and business leaders.
- Strong employee relations and communication skills.
- Commercially focused approach to HR.
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal English.
- Strong candidates currently based in India or elsewhere in South Asia will be considered.
