IN-HOUSE LITIGATION PARALEGAL ***Relocation assistance will be provided to the RIGHT candidate*** Description : U-Haul International, Inc., seeks a highly motivated, organized and detail-oriented full-time commercial litigation paralegal with 2-5 years relevant experience to join its Legal Department. Requirements : To be considered, the candidate must have 2-5 years relevant litigation experience in a law firm or in-house environment and must be familiar with the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. The ideal candidate must be proactive, highly organized and detail-Oriented; have out standing verbal and written communication skills; have a strong work ethic and have the ability to work well both independently and with a team; and have the ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment Candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and West law Education: Associate Degree or certificate in paralegal or legal studies. ***Relocation assistance will be provided to the RIGHT candidate*** Responsibilities will include: The selected candidate will work under the supervision of our in-house litigation attorneys and will be responsible for, among other things: Drafting and issuing litigation holds Calendaring and docketing case deadlines Assisting attorneys with legal and factual research Providing discovery support Drafting Correspondence and pleadings in commercial litigation, intellectual property litigation and class action lawsuits managed by the U-Haul Legal Department and outside counsel.
