About the role: Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, Industrial Mechanics in our plant are responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining stationary equipment. This is a full-time hourly position that offers an attractive 4x4 schedule consisting of days and nights or straight days. The position is site-based at our operations in the Elk Valley, and the ability to reliably commute to or relocate near Sparwood, B.C is necessary. In this role you will: Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies In certain components of this role, it is mandatory to wear a respirator which requires an interference free seal Work closely with all other trades to acquire the highest availability and reliability of our equipment and fleets Install, inspect and repair of mechanical and hydraulic components Maintain and service the processing plant’s stationary equipment including, pumps, gearboxes, chain-drive, conveyors, belts, hydraulics, and pneumatics Requirements: Valid Interprovincial Red Seal Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Certification Valid driver's license Previous mining experience is an asset Comfortable working in an outdoor setting in all weather conditions Benefits: Two Annual Performance Bonuses Trades Retention Bonus Health Lifestyle Account Medical, Dental, Vision Coverage Retirement Package Relocation Assistance This position involves preventative maintenance, industrial equipment repair, and working with mechanical systems across fixed plant equipment.
