Inpatient Adult Psychiatrist

Location: Tucson, AZ

Palo Verde Behavioral Health has a longstanding reputation for stability in mental health and substance-use treatment, serving patients in and around Tucson since 1960. We offer individualized, inpatient and intensive outpatient treatment programs for adults and adolescents.

Position Details:

• Patient population: General inpatient adult.
• Manageable caseload: Average of 15 total patient encounters per day.
• Position type: Full time, 1099 independent contractor preferred (W-2 optional).
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, days only.
• Evening call: Once per week, phone only.
• Weekends: Average 1:4 weekend rounding split amongst the team.

Requirements:

1. MD/DO degree from an accredited program required.
2. Board certified or board eligible General Psychiatry.
3. Arizona medical license or the ability to obtain an Arizona medical license.
4. Meets all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians
