About Advantage Design Group
Advantage Design Group is the largest producer of online welcome orientations in North America. Our platform, which powers Advantage Orientation and HR Engage, has more than 400 deployments in 46 States and Canada. It turns enrollment and hiring into digital orientation experiences for new students and employees, with interactive video and content built around each client's brand. Our team of about 50, based in Jacksonville, Florida, creates every part of that experience, including content development, branded interface design, video production and software engineering.
About the Opportunity
We are looking for an Inside Sales Representative who wants to spend the day selling, not managing accounts, writing RFPs or chasing non-sales work. You'll report directly to our CEO, who co-founded ADG as its original sales representative, and you'll represent a product with few direct competitors and hundreds of clients who are glad they chose us. We'll teach you our solution, back you with leads from our webinars and trade shows, and have our team run your demos with you until you're ready to lead them on your own.
We are hiring for both our Higher Education and Private Sector divisions. Consistent results open a clear path to Sales Manager, and our marketing, video and production teams give you everything you need to build credibility with prospects.
Why Jacksonville?
Grow your career at Advantage and make coastal Northeast Florida home. Jacksonville offers 22 miles of beaches, the nation's largest urban park system, the St. Johns River and a creative food and arts scene. Florida also has no personal state income tax, which means more of your paycheck stays with you.
What You Do
- Prospecting new business across an assigned territory of five to ten states through outbound phone calls, email and LinkedIn.
- Reaching decision-makers and booking product demos, with our team leading demos alongside you until you're comfortable running them solo.
- Following up on every webinar lead from your territory and on prospects you meet at national trade shows.
- Using ZoomInfo, including intent data from organizations actively searching for solutions like ours, to find and prioritize prospects.
- Taking a consultative approach to understand each prospect's needs and recommend the right solution.
- Moving opportunities from first conversation to signed agreement, and keeping your pipeline, notes and follow-ups organized.
- Handing signed clients off to our account and production teams so you can stay focused on your next sale.
Required Qualifications
- College Degree is preferred. In lieu of a degree, candidates with at least five years of progressively responsible experience in B2B sales, including a record as a top producer, will be considered.
- Demonstrated ability to close large-ticket accounts.
- Experience making outbound calls to secure demos and close sales.
- Ability to reach decision-makers through phone calls, email and LinkedIn.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail.
How You Work
- Driven, with a strong work ethic and the persistence to keep a full pipeline.
- Consultative and curious, asking good questions before recommending a solution.
- A quick learner who moves fast and is excited to master a new product.
- Enthusiastic, honest and positive, with strong people skills.
- Organized and dependable with follow-up.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience conducting product demos over Zoom or other video platforms.
- Experience selling software or SaaS solutions.
- Experience with a CRM and prospecting tools such as ZoomInfo.
- Familiarity with higher education or HR technology.
Compensation and Benefits
$70,000 base salary plus uncapped commission, so you are in control of how much you earn, with thousands in additional bonus opportunities through sales contests. Benefits include a 401(k) with company match, profit sharing, group health, dental and vision insurance, paid vacation and holidays, flex time, a gym membership, and a stocked breakroom. You'll also have a ZoomInfo subscription, the latest equipment and software, a private office in our Jacksonville building if you work locally, and access to ongoing training, mentorship, and career development.
Work Location
This full-time role can be fully remote, though we prefer candidates who live in or are willing to relocate to Jacksonville, Florida. Local team members start onsite to get to know the team, our platform and our clients, then move to a hybrid schedule with two remote days a week once they're settled in. Relocation assistance is available for candidates moving to the Jacksonville area.
