Angel Kids Pediatrics & Behavioral Health is seeking outstanding internationally trained pediatricians who may qualify for Florida's alternative physician licensure pathway for eligible international physicians.
If you have completed pediatric specialty training outside the United States, have successfully completed the required USMLE examinations and ECFMG certification requirements, and are passionate about caring for children, we invite you to explore this exciting opportunity.
Our team will work with qualified candidates throughout the licensing, credentialing, onboarding, and transition process. Final licensure decisions are made solely by the Florida Board of Medicine.

The Opportunity
As an Angel Kids Pediatrician you will provide comprehensive care for infants, children, and adolescents while working in an integrated medical home that combines primary care with behavioral health, developmental services, and care coordination.
You will collaborate daily with pediatricians, psychologists, behavioral health clinicians, social workers, and care coordinators to deliver truly comprehensive pediatric care.

Florida Alternative Licensure Pathway
Florida has established an alternative licensure pathway for certain internationally trained physicians who meet statutory requirements.
Qualified applicants generally should have:
- Medical degree from a recognized international medical school
- Completed pediatric residency or equivalent specialty training outside the United States
- Active medical license in another country
- Recent independent clinical practice
- Active ECFMG certification
- Successful completion of the required USMLE examinations
- Eligibility for Florida medical licensure
Applicants must independently satisfy all Florida Board of Medicine licensing requirements. Angel Kids cannot guarantee licensure but will assist qualified candidates throughout the application process.
Qualifications
Required:
- MD, MBBS, MBChB, or equivalent medical degree
- Pediatric specialty training completed outside the United States
- Active unrestricted medical license
- Current ECFMG certification
- Required USMLE examinations completed
- Excellent communication skills
- Commitment to compassionate pediatric care
Preferred:
- Experience in primary care pediatrics
- Autism or ADHD experience
- Behavioral health integration
