Healthcare United is seeking a BE/BC Internal Medicine Physician for a full-time opportunity in the Wethersfield Area, Connecticut.

Combine resident supervision with a defined leadership commitment in an outpatient Internal Medicine program.

• Practice Setting: Outpatient academic Internal Medicine
  
• Work Schedule: Forty hours weekly: ten leadership hours and thirty faculty-practice hours.
  
• Call / Coverage: Phone backup for resident coverage only
  
• Support Staff / Resources: Residents, Behavioral Health, high-risk nurse care managers, and Social Work
  
• EMR: Epic, Dragon, secure messaging, and patient portal

• Compensation: Guaranteed base compensation
  

What You Can Expect

• Work in a clinic with residents and contribute to teaching, quality improvement, research, and program leadership.
  
• The weekly schedule allocates ten hours to leadership and thirty hours to faculty clinical practice.
  
• Use coordinated Behavioral Health and high-risk patient support to manage complex outpatient needs.

Requirements

• MD or DO
  
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine
  
• Connecticut medical license
