Job Summary
Seeking an Internal Medicine Physician (Outpatient) to join a busy, established practice in a community hospital setting. The role is outpatient only with clinic hours from 8 am to 4:30 pm, involving a 4-day workweek with 10-hour shifts, including Mondays and Fridays.
Responsibilities include managing a patient panel with an average of 24-28 patients daily, providing comprehensive outpatient care, and handling call duties primarily related to home health, without obstetrics. The practice is supported by medical assistants or LPNs and includes a team of 3 physicians, 3 nurse practitioners, and 1 pulmonologist. On-site services encompass lab, X-ray, ultrasound, and bone density testing.
Qualifications include board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine and the ability to obtain licensure, DEA, and prescriptive authority in the state.
