IVY Project Partner for the Interreg project "PADRION" Support digital transformation for public administrations in the Adriatic-Ionian region. VOLUNTEER Development Association of West Athens (ASDA) is looking for an IVY volunteer! The volunteer will support the Interreg project “PADRION - Public Administrations facing Digital transformation as a community in the ADRION area" , under the Programme "Interreg IPA ADRION ". The objective of the Interreg project "PADRION" is to help public administrations in the Adriatic-Ionian region embrace digital transformation. The project includes 9 organisations from Albania, Croatia, Greece, Italy, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Serbia which face similar challenges, such as unequal access to the internet, especially in rural areas, and the need to boost digital skills among citizens and in public administrations. A key strength of PADRION is its focus on local communities, ensuring that digital solutions are designed with their specific needs. Special attention will be given to empowering women, both as public administrators and citizens, to bridge the digital divide. The volunteer will be carrying out the following tasks and activities: Write official press releases about project news and events; Create social media posts to increase online project visibility; Design digital newsletters for public information and community communication; Update the ASDA website sections that promote the project with news articles and progress reports; Prepare promotional materials to showcase the new digital tool layout; Send regular email updates to municipal partners regarding project activities. Other information: Financial support of: 34.60 euros per day (week-end and holidays included) . Location: Peristeri , Greece. Start and duration: September, for 6 months. The amount provided allows them to live in similar conditions as the local population where they are volunteering, and ranges from 21.48 EUR to 92.96 EUR per day. Insurance IVY volunteers are fully covered with health, liability and accident insurance. AEBR arranges the policies for you for the entire duration of the experience, if needed. Contribution to travel costs Travel costs to relocate are covered by AEBR, based on lump sums according to the distance between the host organisation and your place of residence. The sum is allocated depending on the distance in km. Visa Volunteers are responsible for ensuring that they have the appropriate visa, residence permit, or any other authorization required to legally enter, reside, and carry out their volunteering activity in the hosting country. Once selected, volunteers are expected to complete all necessary administrative procedures, and submit the required documentation to the relevant authorities. For eligible volunteers relocating between countries participating in the IVY initiative, IVY will reimburse the costs associated with obtaining the required visa, and provide invitation letters and proof of financial means. However, the responsibility for identifying the correct visa, preparing the application, and completing the necessary formalities remains with the volunteer.
