Job Summary
The administration post will be an integral part of the stem cell transplant and cellular therapies service in the Family and Specialist Services Division at the Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and part of BSW Hospitals Group.
Main duties of the job
This is an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to a busy and highly specialised Bone Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapy Service. Working closely with the Transplant Quality Team, you will act as a key point of contact for patients, clinical teams and external organisations, coordinating appointments, maintaining accurate patient records, supporting data management and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of transplant services. The role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple professional groups.
You will also play an important role in supporting quality assurance and regulatory compliance, including contributing to JACIE accreditation activities, clinical governance processes, audits and the maintenance of service documentation. In addition, you will assist with training events, financial administration, reporting and resource management, helping to ensure the delivery of safe, effective and patient-centred care. This varied and rewarding position offers the opportunity to make a significant contribution to a service that supports patients throughout their transplant journey.
