Job Title: Java Developer

Location: Hybrid at Jersey City, NJ

Duration: 12 Months Contract

Industry: Financial/Banking Industry


Required Skills & Experience

  • 5–8 years of professional software development experience.
  • Very strong hands-on experience with Java, including Java 21.
  • Strong experience with Spring Boot.
  • Basic database knowledge, including database design and table creation.
  • Strong understanding and practical experience with Java Design Patterns.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services, including:
  • Terraform
  • AWS Lambda
  • Amazon ECS
  • Amazon SNS
  • Knowledge of containers and fundamental cloud computing concepts.
  • Experience building and maintaining services and APIs, including performing API upgrades.
  • 602-level experience.
  • Experience taking ownership of code delivery and contributing to technical design decisions.
  • Ability to work in a team that owns the complete testing and CI/CD process.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Apache Kafka.
  • Basic experience with React.js or frontend UI development.
