Build Security Devices Used Around the World

Join our team and help develop the next-generation security devices that protect millions of homes and businesses worldwide.

As an Associate Firmware Engineer, you will work alongside experienced engineers to develop embedded software for long-range wireless sensors, gateways, and other security products. You will gain hands-on experience in low-power embedded systems, cybersecurity, real-time software, and modern engineering practices while contributing to products deployed globally.

What You'll Do

• Develop firmware in C for wired and wireless security devices.

• Contribute to the development of long-range wireless sensors and gateways.

• Help optimize energy-efficient devices designed to operate for years on battery power.

• Work with ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers in bare-metal and RTOS environments.

• Debug hardware and software issues using professional development tools.

• Support testing, validation, certification, and production activities.

• Collaborate with Hardware, QA, Compliance, and Cybersecurity teams.

Technologies You'll Work With

• Embedded C

• ARM Cortex-M (STM32 or similar)

• Bare-metal and RTOS development

• RS485 and wireless communication technologies

• Git and modern version control workflows

• SWD/JTAG debugging

• Oscilloscopes and logic analyzers

• Secure firmware and embedded cybersecurity concepts

• GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, AI-assisted development tools, and modern software engineering practices

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Software Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience with embedded programming in C through work, internships, university, or personal projects.

• Basic understanding of microcontrollers and embedded systems.

• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.

• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.

• Good English communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with STM32 microcontrollers.

• Knowledge of bare-metal and RTOS.

• Understanding of UART, SPI, I2C, or RS485 interfaces.

• Experience with battery-powered devices.

• Interest in embedded cybersecurity and secure firmware development.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.

Individuals may also be eligible for an annual performance bonus based on both individual and company’s performance. The final compensation for this position will be set based on the individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience as it relates to the job requirements.
