What We Offer Competitive hourly rate: $26.00 – $30.00 Subsidized staff accommodation may be available Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates Career growth opportunities with one of Northern Canada's premier hotels Supportive team environment in the Northwest Territories' capital city Key Responsibilities Assist with daily culinary operations across restaurant, lounge, banquet, and catering services Prepare and execute high-quality dishes while maintaining consistency and presentation standards Support the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs with menu execution and kitchen leadership Mentor and train junior kitchen team members to ensure operational excellence Maintain food safety, sanitation, and kitchen quality standards Assist with inventory control, food preparation, and kitchen organization Qualifications Minimum 5–7 years of culinary experience in a professional kitchen environment Strong knowledge of banquet production, restaurant service, and contemporary culinary techniques Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a kitchen setting is an asset Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities Excellent communication and team-building skills Red Seal certification or equivalent culinary training is considered an asset
